I was born at Penrith in 1950. I joined to Police in 1967 and worked in various departments including uniform, CID and the No. 1 Regional Crime Squad.
Having developed a keen interest in sport at school I represented the Police at Rugby, Football, Cricket and Golf.
At 42 years of age I had a heart attack and left the Police on medical advice. As part of my rehabilitation I started exercising in the gym on a regular basis. Due to my increased knowledge on health and fitness I became a part time gym instructor at the North Lakes Hotel and Spa. It was a time that I found to be both very enjoyable and rewarding.
Having pursued other business interests I retired, however it was the fond memories of the gym work and its benefits that drew me back to complete my studies for Gym Instructor level 2 and Personal Trainer, which has reinvigorated my passion for health and fitness.
I look forward to using these personal training principles to help you achieve your personal objective whether it be specific such as:
Get fit for a 10km race
Or you're keen to get some new ideas and keep yourself motivated.
